Kategorie: Fuchs Material Handlers
Power…reach…versatility. The Terex® Fuchs MHL340 material handler delivers on these scrapyard requirements and much, much more. Built with a 173-hp (129-kW) turbocharged engine, it delivers the power to move tons of material, while being stingy on fuel consumption, saving up to 6% over previous designs. Responsive and productive, the MHL340 handler boasts a two-circuit hydraulic system that increases hydraulic pump capacity to improve performance and efficiency.
A double-row slewing ring serves as the foundation to this handler’s rock-solid design, as it disperses operating forces over not one, but two rows to improve component durability. Steel plates safeguard the hydraulic lines at the end of the stick to significantly advance system reliability, while rigid hydraulic pipes positioned at the stick, boom and undercarriage protect against damage. Inverted hydraulic boom cylinder mounting helps to protect against debris infiltration and offers superior protection for loading and unloading.
Configured to meet the site’s specific needs, the MHL340 handler offers a number of reach and attachment options. Operations can choose from two grapples, two clamshells, a magnetic plate or lifting hook attachment. To handle material fewer times, its maximum reach of 44.9-ft (13.7-m) increases efficiency, and its multipurpose stick configuration delivers the ultimate in attachment control for fast material sorting.
The MHL340 quickly gets from Point A to Point B via its 12.4 mph (20 km/hr) travel speed, and a 26.7-ft turning radius allows the machine to nimbly dodge stockpiles. A hydraulically height-adjustable cab raises operator well above the grade, making railcar and high-wall trailer loading a breeze.
Top performer. Long reach. High lift capacities. Offering a long list of features, the Terex® Fuchs MHL340 material handler boosts efficiencies at waste and recycling operations. This long-arm handler provides up to a 44.9-ft (13.7-m) reach, so material is handled less, while a stick-mounted hydraulic cylinder on the 40-ft (12.2-m) multipurpose stick elevates sorting efficiencies by allowing up-and-down movement of the attachment.
With its high-performance, two-circuit hydraulic system, the MHL340 handler is as responsive as it is productive. It’s 173-hp (129 kW) turbocharged diesel engine provides more power than previous designs, while its fuel-sipping design lowers specific fuel consumption by 6%. Both the hydraulic system and engine stay cool under intense heat thanks to vented panels that increase airflow.
Capable of reaching speeds of 12.4 mph (20 km/hr), the MHL340 quickly gets around the yard to stack, sort, load and unload. Tight yards and obstacles are no problem due to the handler’s 27° steering angle. Its double-row slewing ring disperses forces over two rows of bearings to improve component life, while inverted hydraulic boom cylinder mounting offers superior protection during loading and unloading.
Operators get a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding work area with the cab’s maximum eye-level elevation of 17.7-ft (5.4-m). Inside the cab, a large high-resolution color display gives operators a quick glance of machine settings, while its antiglare shield and scratch-resistant coating provides easier viewing in direct sunlight and improves durability. An ergonomic multifunction button delivers effortless fingertip navigation through the display screens.
